No update this week, because I simply forgot about our call last night. I don't really know why, I had thought about it earlier in the day, but after dinner it completely slipped my mind.
I did get some letters this week, but they were all a bit behind (dated the 11th and the 19th, before she got to level 3). It is really hard to have meaningful interactions there when they are so far behind.
Diane did write Katie a letter and sent it off - so with some luck they will begin the work to repair / rebuild their relationship.

This is our online journal of getting back to a healthy family. In September of 2005, we enrolled my daughter Katie in a specialty boarding school for troubled teens. It was one of the most difficult decisions we have ever had to make. As part of that I attempted to find information - and all I got was marketing. So we decided to start this to help other parents - a way to share what we have gone through, and are going through.
We hope to keep this updated at least weekly - but possibly daily as things happen that affect Katie and the rest of the family.
